Mystery geeks in the UK won’t have to wait ‘that long’ for one of their favourite detectives to be back on TV.

Sherlock writer Steven Moffat  confirmed the show’s return to the Radio Times saying: “when we’re good and ready – it won’t be that long – but when we’re ready, you’ll get the follow-up.

He warned that while viewers will be getting another season, they would also have to “get used to a bit of starvation.”

“We’re making movies – those six films we’ve made could go in the cinema. You can’t factory produce that – it’s a different kind of show” he explained…

Here at Geek Chic we love Superheroes from She Hulks brute strength to Peter Parker’s geeky glasses.

Who? Peter Parker was orphaned at the age of six when his parents were killed and he went to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May in New York city.

Parker was extremely bright and he soon became a high honors student at Midtown High School. However, Parker’s shyness and scholastic interest often made him a social outcast.

While attending a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials Peter was bitten by a spider which had been irradiated by a particle accelerator used in the demonstration.

Making his way home Peter discovered he had somehow gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls; spider-like traits that he immediately associated with the spider bite…
